Accurately Assess Heart Health: Tashikin Cardiovascular Marker Testing
Animal cardiovascular disease is common and insidious, and early detection and accurate assessment are critical. Tashikin offers a range of key cardiovascular biomarker tests, such as NT-proBNP and cTnI, to help veterinarians make more informed decisions in early screening, diagnosis, staging, and treatment monitoring, improving the quality of life for sick animals.
Interpretation of core cardiovascular markers
NT-proBNP
Released by cardiomyocytes when the ventricular wall tension increases, it is a sensitive indicator for assessing cardiac load. It is used for risk assessment, screening, diagnostic assistance, disease staging and prognosis of heart failure in dogs and cats.
Cardiac Troponin I (cTnI)
Released into the blood when cardiomyocytes are damaged, it is a highly specific marker of myocardial injury. It is used to assess the presence and extent of myocardial injury, monitor disease changes, and determine prognosis.
D-Dimer
Fibrin degradation product, its increase indicates the presence of secondary hyperfibrinolysis in the body. It is an important "indicator" for assisting in the diagnosis of thrombotic diseases such as disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) and pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE).
Cardiovascular Test Reagents
D-Dimer Test Kits (Canine and Feline D-Dimer Test Strips)
Detects D-dimer levels in dogs and cats. Provides veterinarians with a valuable tool for assessing blood clotting and diagnosing diseases such as disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC).
